Ya might as well have fun

If the snow's not going anywhere, then ya might as well have fun with it! This snowman sat on our front porch for weeks! Here is little man and his buddy at the bus stop tossing snow balls...oh to be 6 again. Yes, it's true, the "Yuck" (see earlier post) is not going anywhere either, but "yuck" can't keep a good girl down...as they say. I refuse to let the "yuck" and cold temps hold me back from fun. (It's -6 as I am writing this...in my nice, warm and cozy study!) Up north, even in FEB. ya gotta say...let it snow...cause it will !

It's pretty to me. We only had a light dusting last night - which closed the school for no reason. The kids look like they're having a great time. The snowman is adorable.

Six below zero...I'd never survive in those kind of temps! It would, literally, take me weeks to thaw out! Oh, I'm freezing just thinking about it! Your pictures are so pretty, though. I love playing in snow...for a little while, anyway! STAY NICE AND TOASTY!!!

Terrific snowman!

We have had a big snowfall here in England (well, definitely big by UK snow standards). I think it's only snowed about 3 times in all the years I've lived here. And, I'm pretty sure there's only one snowplow in all of the UK.

I love it when it first falls and I enjoy a day or two with it on the ground but it can go ahead and melt now.

Stay warm...Joyce

-6??? I feel for you! I was feeling whiney about the 30s we've had here. The snowman looks just like the perfect guy to guard your house. Your kids are doing what kids should do on a snowy day. Stay warm. :)

Thanks for stopping by The Picket Fence, looks like we have a lot in common, except for the fact that I live in the south and we have no snow, only 16 degree weather last night. I would love a little snow, just enough to make a snow angel with my GRANDbabies

What a cute snowman! I am still waiting on my shipment of snow to arrive.

It is in the 30's today with strong winds and it is supposed to be in the 60's tomorrow! Go figure!

You might want to wait alittle longer on the snow shipment...it would melt this weekend.

Enjoy your warm, cozy study while the kids get wet, cold and have fun outdoors.

((hugs))

Love your snowy pictures. It looks just like that here at the moment. We have had snow since Monday which is really unusual for England.

Hi Shell,

Thanks for stopping by my blog via Joyce's blog. :-) What part of Michigan are you from? I guess you are originally from the south. You'll have to fill me in or I have to continue reading your blog and find out more.

Good for you in getting on with the snow since it's there to stay...at least for awhile. I enjoyed looking at your other pictures of "the warmer weather".

Blessings to you.
Carol

That's the right attitude to survive a long winter. The snowman is so cute and so is the picture of the boys at the bus stop!

Your keeping a good attitude! You would be SO sad if you could see our town....It will recover but it looks nasty right now :(

thanks for stopping by my blog, I was looking at your pictures and my son was looking at the snowman and saying he wanted to come over and make one with you :) Too bad we don't have snow here, he is dying to make one.
