Moving to Florida

This is our first meal in Florida. Ya can't go wrong with Cracker Barrel and I love seeing the palms in front of it! Below Little man is touching his first palm! Sissy is realizing how heavy he has gotten. She says he needs a new nick name cause he's not so little any more!
Here we are having supper down town at a wonderful Mexican restaurant. I only had one hour of sleep that night and still look ok, huh ?! Little man is draggin' big time. OK...do y'all think Sissy is barefoot under those floppy pants of hers? Tell me what you think if you comment!

Sissy wanted y'all to see her dinner plate. Hers is above and mine is below. Y'all this was REAL Mexican food. The owners are from Mexico and keep it authentic. We will return.

Little man loved "catching a wave" as he called it...see, he thinks he's a pro after one day on the beach! He would say..."oh, I hate it when I wipe out." Y'all he's 6...too cute.
I'll have to "catch" y'all later...my life is so full right now, I have not had time to visit all y'all.
I am off this weekend to visit Amish country. I'm having a custom hutch made by an Amish fella and he is ready to stain it. I have to choose a stain...y'all pray I choose the right one! I'll have this hutch forever! I actually designed it and can't wait to see it in person!

Hey Gal, Praying for all that concerns ya!! Tell the kids, sorry, but usually no fire flies. We had some in the Smokies and the kids got a kick out of it. They bring back fond childhood memories for me too.

Can't wait to sse the hutch!!

Have a great day, and rest in the peace of God!

How beautiful these all turned out! So glad that you are getting settled in Florida. I am sure that you will just love all the new seasons.

I can't wait to see the hutch. Amish people are so amazing. I wish I had half of what they produce, and could live my life like that! Simply heaven in my book.

Where are you moving in FL? I'm near Tampa. I left VA a year and a half ago - I still miss the seasons but warm weather is sooooo wonderful!

Cracker Barrel is my home away from home for Southern veges and cornbread...and also cute seasonal dishes! However, I also love authentic Mexican food! Welcome to Florida!

Can't go wrong with Cracker Barrel or Mexican food! There is a Mexican restaurant two or three miles from our house that we eat at often. Great food, and great people. They all know us by name now! Glad y'all are settling in to Florida! Can't wait to see pics of the hutch!

Oh that Mexican looks so good. It is my most favorit. But oh it is sometimes so hard I am a diabetic not suppose to eat all that.
Did I understand that you moved to Florida from Michigan? We did it it will be two years ago in January. We lived in the Grand Rapids area. We now live in Hobe Sound Florida just north of West Palm Beach. I really enjoyed your blog. Hope I can keep viewing it. Oh by the way I believe your daughter is wereing flipflops for if you go in public places you are to where something on your feet. Thanks for sharing.
