Papaw's church

It's my father in laws birthday and I wanted to share his church with y'all. This church has a long history with his family. Papaw is a pastor and preaches here along with other local churches. These photos were taking in Jan...it's a long drive from Michigan to Arkansas, so we don't make it down there as often as we wish we could. It's especially hard when birthdays come around. Happy Birthday Papaw!

How nice of you to honor your Papaw.
There is nothing I like better than driving along and seeing a church steeple on the horizon .
I always want to stop and worship with any country church we see when we travel. Strangers don't bother me in church. For we have something in common.

Hey Gal,

I adore these quaint little country churches! I, too have always wanted to attend a service at one!! Sending birthday wishes to Papaw and still praying for your move!! Any results from your showing?

Rest in Him, sweetie! He has it all under control.

Love and hugs,
Becky

You certainly don't see churches like this one anymore. Classic and warm much like our traditional churches. This are the ones that for me, call me home, welcome me in and make me want to stay.

I like country churches! I grew up in one and now attend the one where Jeep was pastor for 15 years. (On alternate Sundays we attend my chruch in town.) There is just a special feeling of love and acceptance in these small churches. Happy Birthday Papaw!!

Hi Gal! I'm sorry to hear that you have had a setback. I am praying and trusting for God's perfect will and His timing. Feel free to email me anytime.

It will all work out. Just keep trusting and listening.

Love and big (((hugs)))

I love these old churches! I remember a church my family attended when I was about 5 years old and it looked like this.
