Epcot Part 2 & Prayer

This is the butterfly house; I was hoping it would be larger. However, it was nice and quite cozy. The floating planters below were a favorite of Hubby's. Leave it to Disney to even put flowers on the water! Flowers were everywhere y'all ! I loved it so much that we stayed until they kicked us out...well, not really, but our car was one of the last in the lot!

Getting Mrs. Potts photo was a must for a tea lover like myself.

Today is National Day of Prayer. Can I share a request with y'all? Many of you know we recently moved from Michigan to Florida. We had our Mi home on the market for many months and kept watching our home value plummet right before our eyes. My kids kept asking, in a joking manner, "Can't we just put our home on the truck ?"
This past January we got an offer! It was what we'd been praying for and we were thankful, yet it was bittersweet because of how low the housing market had dropped. Now to the prayer request...we still do not have a closing date. Please pray that the paper work moves along at a faster pace than it has thus far. I confess that I have grown weary and frustrated. However, I am extremely grateful to have a buyer in such an awful market...God is good.
I would love to pray for you as well. Just leave me a comment and I'll be delighted to lift it up.

You are showing us a place of beauty, which I would live to visit.
I have prayed about your situation and will continue to do so.This must be very frustrating, especially since you really can't do much about it.
I request prayer for my cousin,Pete, who is 60 years old and dying of lung cancer. He and his wife love the Lord, but this is a tough road for them.
Blessings,Ruth

Thanks for stopping by our blog. It was fun to visit yours. You have a beautiful family. Benji is very cute. What a great addition.

Florida is beautiful. I love the flowers and greenery that is everywhere. We have vacationed there several times. Fun! I may have to make a special trip just so I can wear flips for a day.

We live in the mountains. I love our location. But come April and May, I get impatient for summer. Our springs are more like a mild winter. When summer finally does get here - they are fabulous!!

I met Cindy via blogging. I have enjoyed our "blog" friendship. I pray we get to meet one day.

So fun to "meet" you via bloggy world.
blessings,
ashley

I didn't realize your house hadn't sold yet! I'm praying it will close now and that God will continue to provide for you and your family. You have always been and continue to be an inspiration to me. Thank you for that! Sean has a screen today and an interview tomorrow. If you would please pray for him, we would appreciate it. The interview tomorrow is for a very good fit for him and a great opportunity. We're hopeful it works out. It would be nice to be settled somewhere. I'm sure you know something about that! Much love to your family! ~ Cat

HI there, Loved the photos of Epcot as it brought back memories from when our girls were teens.
Praise God for your sale-we moved from Ca. to Colorado two years ago, couldn't sell so have our home leased by a nice family but hope to sell in the next year, if not sooner, but our value dropped almost $150,000....ouch. We need the market to go up so we can sell.
Praying yours will close soon.
Hugs, Noreen(Becky & Nellie's friend)

Hi! I'm so glad you stopped by my blog.
I just love "meeting" new friends on here!

I love the pictures. I've been to Florida several times, but never to Disney World. I need to put that on my wish list trips. :)

I will be honored to pray for you and for your house to sell and that all will go smooth and quick.
I've lived in the same town for 42+ years.

My request prayer request for you would be for my daughter who is pregnant. She is due in Oct. and everything is going great so far. We just pray that this little one is totally protected in the womb and also that our daughter is protected and that all continues to go well.

Oh yeah, the picture on my header was taken from our hotel balcony in Santa Barbara this past July.
I LOVE the ocean and this picture reminded me of summer and great times. We celebrated our 30th anniversary there.

Thanks again for stopping by my blog.
Talk to you again soon.

God bless,
Valerie

The photos are gorgeous. I haven't been there is so many years. I also didn't realize your house wasn't a 'done deal.' Goodness gracious--Jan to May??? I will definitely pray that you will finally be able to close...literally!!!

What a beautiful post! I haven't been to Epcot in a long time, and this makes me want to go again. I adored Mrs. Potts and the pretty butterfly topiary.

I will definitely pray for your house to close. I understand completely.

As to your question to me about St. Augustine, there used to be a rule at B&B's about kids. So not sure if they will take a small child or not. You might want to check on that. I wrote an article for a magazine years ago about the B&B's, but I'm sure they have changed since then.

I'm trying to remember if the Victorian House allows children above a certain age. Not sure, but you might check with them since they are in a good location. There is the Marion (bayfront), Westcott House (bayfront), the Kenwood Inn (has a small pool and is one block off the bay), and the Casa de Solana (which is actually one of the older buildings... 2nd Spanish Colonial Period). There are a couple of bayfront hotels that aren't fancy, but they are clean and nice and have parking (which most of the B&B's do not). The hotels of course take children. Not sure about pets.

If you want to, please feel free to email me. I can't click an email because they never installed my whatchamacallit properly. LOL!

I hope you are going to be there a weekend that we are there. We would love to meet you!

XO,

Sheila :-)
