New "do"

It was this trip to the pool that broke the camels back! It is HOT down here in Florida and this long hair just has to go. If it's only MAY and I'm hot, Lord have mercy, what will JULY be like?! Many tell me I'm "hot" because I've lived up north so long and my "blood is thick." This might be true, but I'm thinking isn't Florida a sub tropical area??? So, no matter where you've lived, it's hot down here, the hair has to go.

I think I'm gonna like my new "do"...I know it will be much cooler than my last style. I told myself, it's only hair and if I don't like it, it will grow. Ya never know, I might go crazy short!
Side note: things are moving along with the sell of our Michigan home. I want to thank y'all for keeping this in your prayers...it's been a long, frustrating road, but I think I see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Have a wonderful weekend...I'm thinking I need to take my new "do" to the beach!

YEP! its hot in Fl, no two ways to look at it. ITs HOT! Real HOT. I am in ga and its HOT here... HUMID~ The older I get the shorter my hair becomes. Cant take the hot weather like I use to.

Love the new hairdo!! Other than the alligators running around, does it feel like you're on nonstop vacation? That pool house looks beautiful! I lve the architecture. I would love to move to so cal and live in a red brick roof villa.

I was born in Searcy because my parents met at Harding but I never put that in my Bio because I want people to think I'm native Texan, like everyone else in my family is. *sniff*

To be honest, and I feel guilty about this, because I should be more content than I am, I really don't like Florida. It's an ok place to live, but it's not home.

Take care and blessings to you. :)

Hi Shell,

I had long hair from age 7 until I was 31. Had brain surgery and had to have it all shaved off. (Talk about CRAZY short! LOL) I fully intended to grow it back out. But when I found out how easy a short haircut is to care for? Oh, no way I was going back to long hair!
I think your new 'do' is lovely. *grin*
