Seeing Palm Trees in front of the Cracker Barrel seems funny to me, but I'm thankful that Cracker Barrel is down there!The movers come tomorrow to pack and we will be in Florida by the end of the week. We had two showings this weekend on our home. One buyer has driven by twice since the showing. If this is the family for our home pray with me for it to happen!
We hung out in the front some too. Here is Little Man taking an ipod break from his bike ride.
I'm gonna miss my back porch area! It's been a special place for me while in Michigan. My Michigan friends always said..."How did you get such a Southern home up here?" My simple reply was..."God."

God does wonderful things for us all the time! We have a daughter and son-in-law in much the same situation. They have gotten settled in Chicago but still need to sell the house they moved from in Indiana. I'm praying that both of you will sell your homes and get settled soon.
Be careful and stay safe on the trip. I hope your home sells soon!
God knows what you need and I believe he will send the right people at the right time. I ray the movers are very careful with all your things and God gives you traveling mercy's , taking you safety to your new home.

I've moved several times and I know how hard it is to leave a place that you're rooted in, especially with children.
I started my blog (Jewels For The Journey) with encouragement from my friend Becky over at Holiday in the Sun. She has been a great blessing in my life for over eight years!
So, welcome to Central Florida! I pray that God will richly bless you in this new place.
As soon as we have a string of cooler days, the manatees come into the run at Blue Springs Park (my favorite) and they are soooooo fun to watch. I also recommend the 2 hour boat ride out of that park. It leaves from the dock near the bottom parking area twice a day...I think you can google St.Johns River cruises.
Also, my hubby and I really enjoy a little Italian restaurant on Enterpise Road (in a new coral, orange strip mall) called Pomodorro's.
Great lentil soup, pizza, etc.
It would be nice to meet you.
