My Irish Soda Bread

Here is my Irish Soda Bread...the "my" means it is my recipe! It's a family favorite. I think it goes great with a cup of tea.

March 17th also means SPRING to me. Flowers start blooming this time of year. I'm sure my daffodils in my Michigan garden are blooming...I miss them. Bulbs don't do well in Florida. I took this picture on a bike ride the other day. I have no idea what it is, other than pretty!
Happy Spring Y'all !!!

Hi!
I think the flower is an Azalea. They start blooming really early down south. I enlarged the picture and I'm pretty sure that's what it is.
Enjoy your tea!

It takes a bit of adjusting when moving to Florida. The seasons are not what they are back up north. But there are so many positives; its well worth it.

Blessings,
Debbie

I doubt your daffodils are blooming dear. Although, the hycinths are peeking out of the ground quite a bit, the snow just melted off here in Farmington, MI last week. It's been nice and warm this week however, so, they'll be making their appearance soon! I'll let you know!

just so you will know;
me only speak chinese, me don't take no pictures, girl Anna does, she a pro, takes weddings and stuff, she no charge me!!!!!!!!!! LOL!!!!!

I'll pass the info on to her, she is a great photographer!!

I looked back at yours, I love all the fun places you have been! Hope you can have time in the future to look back at ours. The first entry was a few days after we admitted Joel into the hosp. (Dec.06)Probably would never have done the blog thing, but was a good avenue to let folks now of how he was doing, then after his short battle, blogland and writing was such an opportunity for my heart to grieve and so I carry on with snippets of our "fast life" and I still have many tears so I still write about that and I just like to write! And again Anna does ALL the pictures, I love her for it!!!!

I still luvs ya, and so glad I found ya!!!

Hi Shelley! Some bulbs might not do well here, but plenty of stuff does, and spring in Florida means AZALEAS!! They should be springing to life all around this area soon!!

Life has been so hectic after the surgery and catching up around here and all the everyday stuff! Hope you are not too irritated with me, and that you would still like to get together! I am done shuffling my MIL around, and Mal is all moved in. It is still busy, but then everyone is!!

I'll be in touch!!
Hope your week starts off great!!
HUGS,
Becky

Hope you are doing well
