When I lived in New Jersey many years back it used to break my heart as I traveled in the mornings on Route 287 toward Morristown and you'd see a few of them dead along the road. I hated that! It was obvious that they were hit by cars during the night when it was very dark up there and it was wooded areas on both sides of that route.
Thanks for the link to your blog. I'm a big Point of Grace fan and enjoyed your pics. Their How You Live CD is my favorite right now.
You have some lovely pictures on your site, I especially love the cardinal. And the Spode : ) I have become a pottery junkie since living in the UK. A girl can never have too many dishes! We go up to the factories a couple of times a year. I collect Portmerion but have a bit of Spode too. And Wedgewood. And some Italian pottery which is my favorite.
The snow and the deer remind me of our years in Northen NJ which is where we are likely returning to this year. My hubby is a Tennessee boy, both my daughters are in SC, and we'd love to be going south but I think NJ is our next stop. We have a snowblower in storage and your post makes me hope it will still work after all these years packed away!
I am a stay at home mama, who was raised in the South, lived up North, Out West and returning to The South, sort of...is Florida The South? I tell folks that I bloom where I am planted. I've been married for 17 yrs and have two kids. I retreat to my porch with a cup of hot tea...sweet tea in the summer time. Glad you took a moment to...sit a spell.

You are a blessed lady to have such a visitor. :)
Yes, he is beautiful. What a blessing that God's creatures come so close that you can take photos of them. What a joy!

He is beautiful. You can really see his pretty fur in the last picture.
How pretty...I would have loved getting up close and personal like that!
Beautiful! Great pictures!
What an amazing sight to see! You are blessed to see this in your yard, get snow and all the other blessings of God's creation.
We get a few flakes of snow (dusting), ice and they cancel school for the day. Last deer that I saw up close was in a petting zoo :-) lol!
I enjoy your pictures so very much!

I'm trying to 'follow' you and clicking the link isn't working for me. I've refreshed and tried several times, don't know what might be the problem.
