I love my gardens...except in November. This garden is no longer green, but brown from the many cold nights. As I toiled in the garden today I heard my daughter ask, if Dad had called and what's for dinner...hmm, I'm thinkin', I'm holding a hedger, a rake and a shovel, not a phone or a frying pan...I reply, "I don't know and nothing." with a sigh...I then hear the screen door thunk shut in disapproval. Then I recall, it is November and I should give thanks...I decided to be thankful for left over pizza and pasta!

PS 50:14 Offer to God thanksgiving...

The photos on your blog are beautiful! Can't believe you've already experienced snow!!! Great idea to go with leftovers by the way...

I've enjoyed visiting this morning. The photos of your garden are beautiful.

I just read your post about snow. We haven't had snow yet, but did hear about flurries in Springfield, last week (MO)!!

I had a cup this morning myself!! I love it too... What kind of teas do you most like? This time of year I like the fall teas. Bigelow has a wonderful Cranberry Apple.

p.s. Snow! What does that look like? lol

I say, "I don't know," quite often. There's always something to pull together at last minute, even if it's breakfast! :)

Isn't it sad when our lovely gardens go to sleep? My garden is half blooms and half brown right now! :)
Also, I wanted to thank you for your prayers last week for my family with the loss of our grandfather. It really means a lot to me! Thanks :)

Blessings,
Stacey

It always makes me sad to see everything go away until spring. ...Although each season does have it's on beauty :)

Hi Shell,
I'm glad you found my blog. I love how you just have one blog that includes family, faith, and your other interests. Your gardens are gorgeous!

I had to comment on this one, because I work in a school, and have summers off. Still, I get so busy outside, that I don't always fix the food I've just picked, because I didn't get inside in time, and I'm too hungry to cook. All through the year, though, I fix enough for leftovers. I make soup a lot and freeze individual portions for lunches.

I'll be back for more visits! Oh, and I love your ducks, too.
