The Gift of Friendship

I know gals, Tis the season to go shopping, fa, la, la, la, la...and I must confess, I enjoy finding the perfect gift and it's tons of fun to receive a thoughtful gift, but, the gift of friendship is priceless! Above is a shot of a good friend and I who spent 4 hours, yes you read correctly...4 hours at the tea house. Time with my friend was more precious than any gift she could have given me that day. Listen to the words of Helen Steiner Rice...

Friendship is a priceless gift that cannot be bought or sold, but it's value is far greater than a mountain made of gold--

For gold is cold and lifeless, it can neither see nor hear, and in the time of trouble, it is powerless to cheer-- It has no ears to listen, no heart to understand, It cannot bring you comfort or reach out a helping hand--

So when you ask God for a gift, be thankful if HE sends, not diamonds, pearls or riches, but the love of real true friends.

I agree that The Gift of Friendship is the best gift of all.
I spent last Saturday shopping with a good friend. We did more chatting over coffee and later lunch than we did actual shopping.
Best Wishes
Lindsay

I absolutely love that quote. I think your place looks dreamy, can I come and stay with you? Arizona winters are so nice but not as pretty!

Thanks so much for stoping by my blog. I love meeting new friends! What a great post to have come in on too. My grandmother has always been a fan of Helen Steiner Rice. As I was going down your blog I saw the deer eating and just had to call my son in to see your pics he's a big dear hunter. He looks to only have one antler on the left side. He couldn't believe he was standing there eating bird seed. Well again thanks for stopping by and please come back when you get a chance. Have a great day! Blessings, Karen
